Travelers
The Years will stretch on like Winter that never Thaws
I could have told you long ago but you would never set foot out of the Door
The Pain and the Persistence and the Adventure would have all been Lost
This Life will leave you with a body full of Scars
I could have told you long ago but you would never put your Heart into it or in the Show
The Fierceness and the Fire in your eyes and the Battle for a better world would have all been Lost
But you won’t be Travelling alone
Home is Far my Son
But you won’t lack for a place at the Table so go
Be Young and be Bold
Be on Fire when the World Grows Cold
My Son even if you have no Hand to Hold
You won’t be walking this Lonely Road All Alone

Cause I’ve got Travelers You haven’t even Met
Cause I’ve got Places You didn’t even Plan
Cause I’ve got you Fellow Travelers
Cause I’m setting them down from the Clouds along your Path

Creator of our Journeys
We come to Thank You for not giving us all the Answers
Cause we would have lost our courage and with our courage gone lost our chance to Win
We come to Thank You for not showing us the dangers around the Bend
Cause we would have turned back when the air got Thin
We come to Thank You for giving us a GPS and not just a Map
Cause we get lost when we try too hard to see Ahead
Cause we need to know the borders of where our paths begin and End
We come to Thank You for these Travelers
Cause without them we would fall into these pits and never find a helping Hand
We Thank You for this Journey
We Thank You for these Travelers that you Send
